AirPort stuff

I am buying an AirPort extreme card for my iMac g4 flat panel 10.3.9, and have been reading about it online. Since the iMac didn't come with the AirPort, am I going to need to purchase the software? Or does that only apply if you are buying a base station? Or does it come with the card?
I am looking forward to this.... I however don't have any more money at the moment so this would be a real bother.

You need to buy a airport-card for in your iMac, no software needed, thats already installed.

Yes they are. Also Why would you do that. Don't tell me your turning into leftover. Do anything to get your post count up that is.
