Non-Clan (Single) Player League Options?

I notice that much of the organised 'Ghost Recon' competition play centers on clan play (understandable I supose as GR is a tactical team game)...

But what about enthusiastic players who are 'between clans' or are just not into the whole clan thing...OR can't get into a good clan?

Are there any single player leagues (playing LMS or SS) with rankings? I play on GameRanger quite a lot and note that while team play is rightly popular there are players that do prefer LMS...

Maybe if there isn't a League for this that nice Mr. Monoman would like to consider kicking one off?

Leagues for the demo are hard for clans or 1vs1 play. Mostly because no one actually plays when they sign up. I know that Nuke has set up a 1 vs 1 league. He has a site setup here.

Thanks for that Monoman, a office friend and I have signed up for the league - let's hope it's still running.

If Nuke's league doesn't make it, I could always set one up if enough people are interested.

Well...I've waited and waited but not a sound from Nuke's league...Shall we suppose that it is a dead league?

A real pity as I actually recognized a couple of the guys in his league (I play them occassionally on GameRanger - so I didn't feel like I would be a complete 'noob')...

If the offer of setting up a league is still open I for one would be very grateful Monoman!

I have no problem setting everything up. I will set up a thread for sign ups. If enough people sign up, at least 5 or 6, I will add it to the site.
