It's going fairly well. There's just one more thing I need to finish up on and it should be all set.

Realize hexedit is also a tool sword :wink:?[Nothing here move along!]

And daxter you could use hexedit to inject new bipeds just it would take a while.

Hexedit maybe a tool, but it is the most basic, fundamental tool there is. HMT and HHK do all that time consuming stuff in a short period of time, therefore you learn nothing, or at least not a lot. Using tools is just a cheap way to do mods in my opinion.

as long as i get anouther cool mod added to my colection i couldnt care less how it was made :D

sword just thinks that you should learn how the map works through hexedit instead of always using tools. Then, once you know the map, you should only use the tools for stuff that takes too long or is nearly impossible to do with hex.

And if it was only hmt demo then I'd be able to crank it out easily it's just changing how the program reads the header. Mine is built completely from scratch and will be an all-in-one super tool with much more features than HMT, the least of which is that it will (hopefully) be able to handle different file types (trial, demo, full pc, full mac, ce). And, lastly, shhhhhh..... don't tell them about the tool, it won't get released to them for a long while and I don't want my inbox constantly full.

Someone will bound to find out anyways and leak that info, since i know alot plays halo full and demo and a certain site...I will edit my post edit the quote of mines too and ur post <_<.

Plus I am learning (And i know im not the only one), the tools were meant for halo full only and pretty much that is taking consideration, it is useless and it pretty much is since it took at most of its advance features.And i need to learn, ive been searching site by site on hexedit info on halo and messing around with hexedit to find out new things.

Well Ce has its tools sapien, guerilla, hek etc, and they are pretty good.Dont need to worry about that, unless u want to.Pc full has its tools, which is pretty good and very efficent (Hmt 3.5, Sparkedit etc.) so dont need worry about that and again unless u want to.

Last, *cough* (if you want to edit this last part tell me now), restrict/limit the rebuilding process for trial.I hope you do, i dont want trial to hold full or ce content.I dont want any site to be sued or the person who made it, rules or eula states that about ripped content.But thats ur choice, its not mines, i perfer trial limited as it is.Halo is like 20$-30$.

Basically what I mean is, your having all these people making these mods when they have no clue what they're working with. But, I guess it goes along with the world - most people try to find the easy way out and never do anything amazing in their life.

Modding is far from amazing, but you can really apply the same ideas to it.

PS I'm in an internet cafe in Moscow :o

Oh right, About that HMT Thing that A Bunny said he was going to work, I think that's what he said... Try and get HHK to read Demo too. Then I won't have to always compare the full map with another full map to figure out what was changed in the header, and then find where that is in the demo header...*sigh*.

Pain in the ass; Modding is.

Can be fun at times though.

Eventually I want them to fly, but I can't make them do either. I think I corrupted the meta data.
