s'not much, but i suppose i could make a rendered poster pic of a spartan/Mc/odst or something with the mod as a congrats pic for winning. Course, u'd still need a better prize to follow,

like maybe 1stplace gets a good resolution pic plus w/e the prize is, then 2nd gets just a rendered pic idk. just a suggestion. I could pop up every month or so

I like this idea. It could include all our signatures (of our MGM names, of course )... but that might be a little too much like the US Declaration of Independence, John Hancock, so maybe a watermarked image on the paper and an official MGM/HDM awards header would be nice?

You can't just say to people no flaming a certain user, it's how the user chooses to post to determine if he will be flamed. For the ban, it won't be very useful since no one usually gets banned.

I think the word you are looking for is absolutivity
and which is why we implement a set of rules pertaining to the power of the winner, so that they cant go over the limit. Though now when i think about it, it seems hard to monitor/deal with that kind of stuff...

If you win the award, you probably won't get flamed because of the newfangled prestige that comes with it.
