Injecting New Model Meta

Injecting New Model Meta
Whenever I inject new model meta to replace, say, the warthog i get onto Halo Trial and it either Force Quits or looks as though the warthog hasn't been touched. I downloaded the model tut. and started from that but doesn't work. Fox had a different problem a while back with Wings, cause the file would like crash his apps. So can anyone either help me or post a new tut. I'm trying to make a brand new map for a Dev. Board map so that i can get in since i've been stalling for so long to even send in one of my heart-warming mods.

I'VE READ THEM AND YES BIRDIE YOU GET THE "MODEL META" OUT OF MOD2 IN HMT.
USE THE .OBJ IN OBJCONVERTER AND WINGS3D
WHY DOES EVERYONE ACT LIKE IM A NOOB!!!
I JUST NEED HELP DOING THAT AND THE TUT. I READ MADE LITTLE SENSE IN SOME PLACES AND WHEN I WAS DONE THE MODEL WOULDN'T WORK!

Trinity, the model ur using, just wondering, does it hav the same indices and vertices of the original model ur doing?If its indices and vertices are lower or higher then thats ur problem.The model ur using must be using the same # of vertices and indices.But how would i know, its ur model, i cant tell how many verts and indices it has.

i'm not stupid
the indices and vertices are different.
=P
whenever i inject them they don't change.
also what i also wanted to know is how to put in the map "more of one object" like put in more trees or whatever.

Well thats the god dam reason why, the # of indices and vertices are different from the original model it came, im not a dumbass.I hav seen many recreations of the models and yet they still use same vertices and indices its former original model holds.trinity. wrote:birdie.

Here's a link to a model that barely even looks like a sniper but it holds the same vertices and indices.Dont worry about the dds skin.I just posted it just to prove it to that u need the same # of v/i, but u do the injection urself.
