Today I found an old weapon i was working on one year ago. I decided to record some footage of it in action against some hunters!
([strike]i thought i uploaded it in HD but i guess youtube doesn't care about that?[/strike] oh wait there it is)
I guess i was trying to make some sort of force-a-nature; because it's basically a shotgun that holds two shells and has a recoil that pushes you back a little. I think it's a fun weapon!
You can use it to jump over bloodgulch's bases from the ground. I don't understand why i find this concept so fucking fun!
S-so, yeah. I thought i-i'd show it t-to you guys and stuff.
PS: the music used is Future Days, by Can. The album is called Future Days as well.

Also, i've recorded some footage of some other weapons i did back in the day. (wow i said "record some footage" again?)
This time with NO MUSIC!!! :0 It was hard for me to not listen to music from the computer, but i made it!
Also i've discovered that the HD function is there, but youtube takes a bit to process it so it might not show if you watched it soon after this post. Right now it's... 3 am? holy shit what am i doing here
EDIT: PS: Zap: well, I don't remember why did i make that weapon in the first place. I guess i really made it just for personal amusement! If i were to release that goddamn island mod of mine i'd surely add it in somewhere, though.

Probably yes.
I ran some experiments back in the day. I remember i tried giving a duplicated needler ammo coll to the rocket, and made that coll destroyable.
I was able to fire rockets and make them explode in midair by shooting them with a gun, but the mod would sometimes crash and i would not know why.
Well, we could try doing it again right now! Maybe with our current tools it'd work! I am not sure if eschaton was even around when i tried this. : ?

I tried and I'm too dumb to make a working coll so I gave up but my idea was like the scottish resistance from tf2. you know, the stickybomb launcher noone ever uses ever.

Oh yes, it's simple in theory to make a rocket destroyable, but irritating in practice seeing as you'd need a proper coll for the rocket.
scottish resistance, however isn't possible... though i just had an awesome idea.
So you have a projectile that constantly spawns an effect, this effect is the emmiter effect from A10, A30 etc, this effe spawns a projectile, so if you make the projectile spawn it like a contrail, you have a whole bunch of projectiles flying around, make these grenades and fire across the map.

it is possible, I did it. but I couldn't make a proper effect, so I had to just use the spartans coll. I used the frag grenade projectile, and set it's arm time to something really really high. then you just make the launcher have a second trigger that fires a projectile that explodes in a smallish radius with enough damage to destroy the grenade. sure you could use it to like stun other players shields, but if you were making a full tf2 mod you wouldn't use shields anyways. (unless you were doing overheal or something)

taxi I was just reminded of your really cool carrot launcher. Got anything else like that? Imagine a fruits vs. vegetables mod with weapons shooting all sorts of glowing (maybe radioactive) produce all around the map.
