Making bloodgulch darker?

Making bloodgulch darker?
Is there a way to make a bloodgulch darker and foggier for example: like bathed in shadow?
The way of modding is experimenting.

yuupp, try the tutorial section. And you can also just import a sky from another map of your choice if u want fog, or watevs.

Re: Making bloodgulch darker?
Don't bother importing it from something else, but instead, just modify the sky tag attributes in the demo clear day sky. I've experimented with this stuff alot lately (for my environments mod series), so I have a few tips:
1. If you want the fog to look more realistic, give it a starting distance of 0 or 0.001 and an ending distance of about 17 to 25 meters (numeric values are in meters).
2. If you make the maximum density less than 100%, even by a little (ie, 99.9%), then the bloodgulch base lights will be visible through it, even if nothing else is. Being able to see these lights helps you figuring out where you are in the map when you can't see your hand in front of your face.

Either you are groping for answers, or you are asking God and listening to Jesus.
