Skinning Problems

So im replacing the big blue planet with a picture of my friend for kicks (its a jpeg) and when i inject it it gets all screwed up and gets divided into a bunch of different lines. ANyone know what i can do about this?

Stuff like this has happened to me. I tried to replace the walls of bloodgulch with something else and I got the lines. I think it is because the walls and such have textures, so they read the images weird. I was able to make the big blue planet a piture, but I made it more or less round, and I think the same dimensions as the original bitmap.

yeah i just gave up on putting in pictures lol
