4. Open Crossover Games
5. From the Menubar go Programs>Run Command...
6. Make sure it says winxp, click browse, find the installer, and hit run.
7. Follow through all the instructions, enter your CD key when asked.
8. It should install fine and be done.

17. There is no 17!

Steps in green are not needed but are relevant.

Notes:
Add -console after -window if you wish to use SP maps.
For SP maps, hit alt ~, then type map_name <mapname>
Mouse lags a little bit, not much.

@comments about campaign: Custom Ui's.

Pwned?

EDIT:
Dirk wrote:Make me a video tutorial for the whole thing, then I might just believe you. Crossover and Games 7.1 would not install the Halo CE files correctly, and the only way I was able to get the installer run was through a modified version of Darwine. So far I can only see two people that say they have it working.
I don't think you need a vid tutorial when you could read my beautiful words. I used 8.0, Zang used 6.2, I tested it on 7.1. It all worked. BTW the installer part was easy. The getting it to run was harder.

what does this prove? you know how to run a program, you don't understand X11, Darwine, or how crossover works, so what is the accomplishment here? All you prove here is that you don't understand it but can follow a tutorial. Nothing to see here people, lets all move on.

Beautiful.
Make a single topic for it and get it stickied.
The armaments which thunderstrike the walls
And monarchs tremble in their capitals.
The oak leviathans, whose huge ribs make
Of lord of thee, and arbiter of war;
Alike the Armada's pride, or spoils of Trafalgar.

Doesn't work, most likely for the same reasons Steam games only work on a few Macs.
