CMD+Tab?

How do I CMD+tab out of Halo? I could do it in the demo, but in the full version I can't. So how do I just put the game in the background?

What I do is I fullscreen it, change the resolution to my native (1280X800), and then window it. But it cuts off half the health ect.

I usually just use the full screen and just cmd-h out of it when i hear a message or something. Doesn't that work for you fine?

I just tested it and it doesn't seem to work with the UB.

That's weird and slightly retarded. Oh well, I don't know what to do from there though. On a pc you can hide halo by just hitting the...uh...what do they call it? windows button?

That's what I do on my iMac, that runs Snow Leopard. But on Lion if you want to make everything have more room you just make it full screen, which automatically hides the dock.

New thought! I'm gonna see if I can do it by pressing the Mission Control button!

Edit: No, it doesn't work.

You need to play in windowed mode, with a small enough resolution so that it won't hinder your dock. You can't get out to another app if Halo UB is in full screen due to how Halo implements full screen.

try pressing FN + CMD + ENTER to make it toggle between full screen and windowed mode. This works in demo, not sure about the full version.

Doubtful, but best bet is figuring out why halo UB broke full screen to window toggling (command + enter that is).

Isn't it just because Halo UB locks your keyboard? And Quartz's windowing semi-frees it.

Is it possible that Rosetta did something similar since keystrokes had to go through it? I never played halo on a PPC computer though so I don't know if full screen on a PPC computer pre-UB worked with expose.
