This new type of modding looks promising, based on screenshots. I really wish I had a mac.
Still, I hope it's not too risky of getting banned from XBL.

I think we should be looking at extracting what's on there, if we can do that then we'll shine throughout the modding community. A team of mac users, the first to extract and use the assets from this game.

Sparky and I are on Mumble right now talking about a mod we could do for Halo Mac. I proposed that we could go into Anniversary, steal the sounds, and use them on the Mac. That would be easy, right? And if that fails I said that Sparky could buy the Anniversary Soundtrack and update the music.

Depends, I doubt that data is written in the .map files.
