Game crashes on the new maps

i recently downloaded the maps from this thread viewtopic.php?t=2487 followed the instructions and the maps start ok when i create a LAN game, but when i try to join online using these new maps the game crashes..

oh yeah i noticed that the newly maps placed in the maps folder have different names than they appear in the game, dunno if that has anything to do with it

thats because the files changes the names of all the maps it replaces so your hosting a helicx canyon others thinks its danger canyon (not sure if thats waht helix replaces) but anyway get the point and if you join your just joining a normal game becasue your seeing it as helix its realy a regualr map hope that helps

so i would use a server name like this HElix canyon map needed

has everything to do with it halo on mac cant reconize new maps

but i am porting CE to mac so yeah and i am one of the people converting those maps like that

so no one can join these maps and i can't play these maps online?

you can play them online <_< why the hell would we convert maps u cant play online sry ... .mabee someon eltse can continue this and explain a little more you not see what u think your seeing these new maps just replace original maps thus your seeing original maps tha t ajust have diffrent names online >_> but if you host and tell a friend the name of it they can join wonder why? cuz everyone has to have the map <_< to play if your room they do not have map they quit after they join
so tell your frineds your playing them

and are u the one that IMed me? about this after i explained it already?
