How to beat it

1. You ride in a banshee and you crash it on purpose
2. you are now in the pillar of autumn and you cross a ladder.... wait for the flood to ooze out
3. Shoot or grenade them and toss one down the ladder
4. Make your way to the bridge and kill all that is there
5. You remember where Keys was standing when he was on the Pillar of Autumn's bridge before it crashed into Halo, go there and press "E" but you have to follow "Forth", if you fall down the front part of the bridge on accident or on purpose, restart the level because you just saved a checkpoint at that location so if you fall you are where you were
6. Ok, after the bridge part, there is a cutscene with the Monitor
7. Make your way to the engines place and throw a grenade in the open yellow spots in the engine to blow them up, take care of the sentinels, don't bother with 343 Guilty Spark, he can't fight OR die which is how he survives the explosion of Halo
8. When you finish that you will see a timer saying how long the Pillar of autumn will explode and reach OVER 1 Million degrees, if you don't make it in time, MISSION FAILED...
9. When you run through the way, you will find a few warthogs, some are dead and busted, there is 1 that still works, TAKE IT NOW!!!
10. Don't bother with flood, they can't get you unless you stop, take ramps and make sure you stay on path
11. When you reach a spot where Foehammer picks you up, wait for her, DON'T GET OUT OF THE WARTHOG
12. Foehammer will die by the pursuing banshees, please continue on the path
13. Eventually you will see some boxes that block the hogs path and you are close to the ship you need to get to, get out of the warthog and flee to the ramp on the ship then you will drive away, Halo is dead
14. At the end of the mission, if you played Legendary and beat the game, you will see an elite and you fight but at the last second, they hug for dear life... Then they both almost die, in Halo 2, you will play as the Elite and the Masterchief... they same one that was in that cutscene
15. As always, you see the Monitor still alive and flies away at any difficulty

How to beat the Maw on Legendary revised.

1. Crash land your banshee into the POA.

2. Blast everything to bits.

3. Get to the longsword in the warthog and fly away to the end of the game.
