It has been done before. Reskin the shield bar for the bitmaps file, then open the map file and move it down there somehow.

EDIT: GRR! It didnt work skinning it. And Shadow, I saw your montage on YouTube. On that video you had Halo 2 shield bar. Any chances I could have the bitmaps.map? :lol:
