Weird. I'm glad I'm not working with that format anymore. If that happened, I'd assume whatever map you made the patch from has modified a certain meta that doesn't exist in the demo version. Wait...I think I wrote code to check for that issue. I really couldn't say what would cause that. When did it error. That helps figure out the problem.

it errored when I clicked make, it didnt even start making anything

Well try it with the UHP program then. There are some seriously random ass errors that keep cropping up.
