When I try to play Halo: Combat Evolved ("not illegal") it says that I need to re-insert my Halo CD. Which I "lost" a while ago. So does anybody here know some way I can get past that and get right into the game? Like somehow force the UI.map to open and skip that verification screen?

Get a disk image and toast it. You should have found one in the various files downloaded onto your computer from the "CD". >.>

Wait, what extension is Disk Image (that's .dmg, right)? And how do I toast something?

Ha! I miss Toast. I stopped using it for some reason. When i have to burn a CD i just use either Disk Utility or… the finder? iTunes? depends by its contents. o_O

Anyway i guess you could, uh, open the .dmg with disk utility (CMD+Shift+U > Disk Utility) and, yeah, find the burning buttons and crap!

or wait, what? Can't you just burn the .dmg on a disk by the right-click contextual menu anyway?

Hang on. So let me get this straight.

1. "get" Halo: Combat Evolved

2. run everything

3. Open the DMG with Command+shift+U

4. I have no clue?

Edit: OK, I opened it in disk utility. Now what do I do? First Aid, Restore, something else?

Your doing it wrong. Don't update halo if you've torrented it.

I'm not. I Torrented the UB, and it said that I need the CD I used to install it or something.

Oh My god! This is so fucking retarded!!! No matter what I do, the DMG won't burn. I've already tried Disk Utility, and a virtual CD I downloaded! Should I actually go as far as to get a real CD/DVD and upload it to there?!

I did piracy and i updated to 2.0.3 (wait there 2.0.4, if i remember >>_>>)

1 is fake and 1 is real.
Ok, The Halo Demo (Imagine is the real Halo but with folder) This one is fake. And the Left is the Real and IT should be look like that.

you using Mac, and you should using serial key code for mac.

Assuming you use the link on thepiratebay, that file comes with a serial and a NOCD disk image. You don't want to burn halo itself. I use Toast. Google it.

Nevermind. It works now!!!!! I haven't use multiplayer yet, but I already have a problem. I accedentally messed up b30.map while trying to get the game to work earlier today, so now whenever I try to play it, it quits. Which sucks, because now I can't progress in the campaign!!!

Edit: Can someone do me a BIG favor and give me one of their profiles. Then I can just skip The Silent Cartographer (considering that I've played it a bajillion times, it's not like I'm gonna miss it) and go on and play other things!

Guys, I have an even WORSE problem! My CD key is invalid so I can't do multiplayer!

Edit: Can I do multiplayer with Direct I.P?

Get a new CD key >.> The problem is that EVERYONE gets halo from the same site, and they all have the same CD key.
