I made a lot of new models for Gephyrophobia, but I misplaced my Halo CD, so I need someone to test the map to see if the modeling errors I made crash Halo. I saved all the modified .obj, so there won't be any problems ^^

New Halo Models

I left the LRV alone since it was late and I hate starting a project in the middle of something. I always make mistakes ><
I couldn't think of a better name, so I left the folder name as the default for the project.

Screenshots:
banshee - fly1 | banshee - fly2 | banshee - stand - back | banshee - stand - front | banshee - stand - left | banshee - stand - right | banshee render - x | banshee render - y | banshee render - z | ghost - drive1 | ghost - drive2 | ghost - stand - back | ghost - stand - front | ghost - stand - left | ghost - stand - right | ghost render - x | ghost render - y | ghost render - z | rwarthog - dead | rwarthog - drive1 | rwarthog - drive2 | rwarthog - drive3 | rwarthog - drive4 | rwarthog - drive5 | rwarthog - flipped | rwarthog - stand - back | rwarthog - stand - front | rwarthog - stand - left | rwarthog - stand - right | rwarthog render - x | rwarthog render - y | rwarthog render - z | scorpion - cannon fire | scorpion - stand - back | scorpion - stand - front | scorpion - stand - left | right | scorpion render - x | scorpion render - y | scorpion render - z

I don't have the patience to create and release big mods. For now, they're all just for fun ^^
I'll make a more jet-like thing at some point for Death Island :ninja:

I guess you won't see the screwed up models I've made. Sucks for you?

You policy of not downloading anything without being shown everything in the mod is really stupid. Why doesn't anyone ever want to just figure things out for themselves? I think it's more enjoyable to not know what I'm going to get in a new mod. Especially with one that's really only new models...

Says the person who goes ballistic if a mod isn't zipped in a folder first.

Is that supposed to be a trolling attempt? It's a pretty pathetic one. Trolling works better if your grammar and spelling suck and you insult more :3nod:

I'm simply pointing out that you're being a bit hypocritical. Trolling would be posting with the express purpose of distrupting discussion by posting controversially. It's a general guideline on modding sites to post pictures. You constantly post in topics complaining about them not including a folder, implying that uploading mods in folders is a generally accepted norm. This is ironic when you complain about and choose to not follow the accepted practice of posting pictures.

And in case you don't know how to post a picture, you simply upload to a website like Imageshack and then display it on the page by using this bbc:

Code: Select all

Are you really so fucking stupid as to think I don't know how to make an image or, better yet, a link to an image that's more than just the url?

I'm pretty sure there are screenshots included in the download, and if not, JUST SEE THEM FOR YOURSELF.

I see no reason to have a policy as fucking stupid as Pickoff's. It's laziness. Nothing more, nothing less.

Well know modding communities with required picture policies:
HaloMods
Halo Trial Mods

A very good reason to have a policy for that sort of thing is because not everyone is going to take the time to download a 98.1MB file only to find out they don't like it. 98.1MB is no picnic on some connections. It's not laziness, it's a common courtesy. Similar to refraining from cursing.

Fine. I'll host decent images. Just delete those. Those snapshots make the models look worse than they really are. I know, I know, that's what you're trying to do, but it makes you look more like a noob than most people probably realize you are.

I did include screenshots in the download, but I'll reupload the map without anything else in the archive. The "you must post images" policy makes about as much sense as why people have so much trouble accepting new things. But I won't get into too much detail there...

I chose the pictures that actually showed the model. I don't care whether they look decent or not. There weren't that many to choose from. And like I said, it's a common courtesy.

Altimit01, please...
a) delete your post,
b) delete the images from your post, or
c) change the images into links.
(c is probably the best choice)

I will be uploading very high quality screenshots within the next few days if I don't forget. Not high quality on an iBook, I mean borrowing a MacBook Pro.

You say there weren't that many? I included 40 in the original download. Compare that to the number people typically post.
