Yeah, unfortunatley bungie stopped selling them outside of internet retailers. The only way to buy it is through them.

Bungie is not responsible for the distribution of the PC version of the game. That would be gearbox (windows) and macsoft (mac). It's not so much stopped selling the mac version as stopped producing discs for the game. I'd think the PC version is in a similar boat but that there are still a lot more windows versions of the game floating around in bargain bins than mac versions so the finite supply has not yet been exhausted.
