sorry but Narrows can't be converted. I've tried it with pearl

Computer (mac) type (intel seems to have the most luck)
Are they protected?
Are there multiple BSP's? (if there are, sux2bu)
Are all your maps original? (I think having converted CE maps in your folder seems to help, though, cuz Pearl can just rip that stuff)
Is there too much changed stuff?

^None of those mean anything. It's only whether the map has multiple bsp's or not.
