does anyone know how 2 get sounds from outside the game and use them instead of E.G the warthog gun or the asault rifle cos im makin a ww2 mod with different sfx and projectiles, so reply ASAP please

No, we do not have a sounds injector right now.
But.... My and slappey have been talking about ;)

I thought I read somewhere that HMT could inject sounds somehow... I'll try and see where I found it...

The PC version can, but not the mac one.

:idea: listen can someone make a sound injector, i mean wouldn't it be quite simple, just replacing sounds. Or some way that u could fiddle with the sounds.map?

We have the power to extract sounds easily, but recompiling it another story.

Meh. The issue primarily is how the sound segments are split into 5 second sections. Constant time, but not constant data size. As for importing. It's easy. The issue is if it's not split up then only the first 5 seconds are played. If you split it up according to the snd! tag, then it's a matter of matching up all of the chunks within the reflexives to each of the segments (also keeping in mind the linking order between chunks). Quite tedious. Almost worth figuring out the entire structure so as to create new snd! tags. Also no I will not make something to do this within the next month.
