Trenches

What i mean is a map that is a battle field with two or more trenches (those would be the red and blue bases). Also it would be neat if there were dugouts in the trenches to hide in...

Its pretty much a trench warfare map..

Hmm... that would make for an interesting multiplayer map... trench warfare but the size of bg... and have some sniper towers to pick off anyone who tries to run in the open.

Of course... this would be much easier with CE.

Not really towers, more like platforms with a parapet behind the trench (harder to see, and won't need to expose themselves that much). It also would be interesting to see all the retards come out and try getting across.

Hold up here, you mean you want a mod with trenches right? (just to make sure)

Anyway how do you make the map bend in? Or is there any other way to change the ground's height?? Swordedit maybe?
If someone tells me i shall do my best to TRY and make one (me still new modder)

Um swordedit is only for adding/removing/placing objects/making transporters

YEs, like a WWI battlefield but with the halo weapons, and maybe a sniper w/o the scope... (A rifle)

That would require a new BSP, which can't be made on Macs at the moment... If you give me references, I might be able to make one, though.

Um swordedit is only for adding/removing/placing objects/making transporters
well, it can also change what the pieces of scenery (or as you would category as "objects")

but i think changing the way the map is is more of model and physics editing... I'm not really sure...
