1. Get Eschaton
2. Download Halo Demo
3. Open Bloodgulch in Eschaton
4. Swap some tags
5. Edit some bitmaps
6. Finish mod.
7. Post on MGM.
8. Post pictures and a link.
Or press the button on Eschaton that reads "Make Awesome"

Which version is that in, anyway?
Also, don't do what he says. He's a newbie.
What you want to do is this: Our community really kind of sucks when it comes to halo modding, so an up and coming modder like yourself would be much more suited to a community like modhalo. Lots of exciting things are going on there, and I would strongly recommend learning how to mod there! There should be plenty of people willing to help you. Here's a link to their website!

How does a modder start out, and how does he learn the basics then move on? I' a newbie too, so I want to learn as well.

Get eschaton, back up your maps folder, and start experimenting like there's no tomorrow.
