Also the last 3 application icons in the dock are not normally there, I had system preferences open at the time of the screenshot and the other two are related to a project I am working on right now so that is why they are there.

Also the black area normally would have my iCal stuff (calendars and "todos") and I did not want to publicly display that stuff so I did it for the photo. Normally that is displayed all down the black area though.
