Ke$ha is very popular, thus under the "pop" genre. She uses hip-hop influenced rhyme patterns, rhythm, and song structure; along with some autotune, which is beginning to be used more and more in the mainstream hip-hop scene.

Any genre or style that makes up the mainstream is considered pop.

autotune is only used by the people who are bad at hip hop, real hip hop is no where near kesha, thats all digitally generated dance theme thingie meh.
