This band is fairly depressing, but I love it.

Modest Mouse- strange
Beck- Very trippy, I don't like his album Mutations, up to you to decide.
Weezer- You just have to listen to their album Pinkerton.

Pinback- kinda spacey... yet awesome.
Girl Talk- Sweet mashups. Probably won't find on iTunes, belongs to a record company called Illegal Art.
The Decemberists- They have english accents, but they're from New York?


All of these bands are fairly underground except for Weezer.

They are underground in the way that they are not as mainstream as many other bands people listen to.
