Go into bitmaps, find the chief armor, export it, open it with a not crappy image editing program, make all the white parts the color you want, close it, convert it to .dds in graphic converter, import it back into bitmaps.

Turns out I'm allergic to long periods of typing

I have a .psd of MC reskinned with several different colors if you want it. All you have to do to make it a different color, would be to select the top layer, and edit the color as you please. It's already cut out and such to make things simpler.

Turns out you're allergic to not being the opposite of awesome.

I don't think it would work like that, but I would give it a try.

If you have photoshop, just hit apple-U. Play around until you have what you want.
