*if you are modding original map, make sure to back up your files.*
Open your mod/ original in Eschaton ( for you, open the original, im opening a mod im making called tops.)

Now first well mod the weapons (from bottom up- so first is Sniper Rifle)
*You can mess with meta editing but i dont do that much.*

Then open The reference swapper tag and look at that page.

MAKE SURE ON FAR RIGHT < LOCATION ^ > IS HIGHLIGHTED!
Now click the first mod2

That is the model that you see while A. looking at someone holding it or B. looking at it on the ground
IF you want edit that to a diffferent weapon. so if you swap that to mod2\<weapon>\<weapon> NO FP people will see you holding a rocket and when you look at sniper at ground it is a rocket.
The second mod2 is for FP (first-person) this is what YOU see holding in YOUR hands. edit this the same way
* you probalbly want to make it mod2\<weapon>\FP of the same weapon above*
Once you have edited the mod2, you want to edit the weap JPT!

This is the melee damage. ( when you hit someone)
The only thing you can really do to this is swap it with Globals/Vehicles/collision
That will make it a super-punch : D.
Now we will go to proj editing. double click

This will take you to the proj editing.

Click the reference swapper tab.

Green= edit the sound tags by swapping sound with this
Red= this is damage. swap this with other JPT! tags to make the sniper bullet damage different. Example: swap it with tank shell explosion and it will be one hit kill.
okay. now the tags below the colors are the effe about what happens when you shoot a type of metal or terrain. By modding this, you can make one weapon have regular damage if shot at the rock, but explode when it hits a cliff!
its pretty self-explanatory to which effe is which.
*Note: for other weapons like rocket launcher you can mod the effe tag that says
Weapons\<weapon>\effects\Explosion to make explosion different. same with other explosive weapons.
Now you know how to customize Damage and Change the Model, and change the effect.
