w-why am i blogging about this? I don't know!

Guys, seriously, watch Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champaloo. They're only 26ish episodes each, too.

Re: Anime/Manga?
Does anything Miyazaki count as anime?

Re: Anime/Manga?
Absolutely. That's like asking if Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid counts as a movie.

I don't know if I'm alone here, but I really liked the girl who lept through time.
Re: Anime/Manga?
Good. I fucking love anything made by Miyazaki, most notably Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind.Kayar wrote:Absolutely. That's like asking if Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid counts as a movie.

Re: Anime/Manga?
Let's bump this and add a bit, as I'm looking for new things to watch.
Recent:
> Baka and Test S1+S2 (Way more entertaining than expected, rewatched the whole thing twice in a month)
> Nisemonogatari (Holy hell was that so much weirder than Bakemonogatari... And please get this out of my head)
> Shakugan no Shana S1, S2, S3 (This was really enjoyable, although I suppose the third season is a bit slow)
Finished:
> Ah My Goddess (First anime I ever watched)
> Cowboy Bebop (Probably the best english dub ever)
> Trigun (Sooo Goooood)
Gurren Lagann (FIGHT THE POWAH)
> Steins;Gate (Currently tied for my #1)
> Baccano (Currently tied for my #1)
> Soul Eater (Pretty good)
> Certain Magical Index (Pretty good)
> Certain Scientific Railgun (Also pretty good)
> Bakemonogatari (Pretty far up the list)
> Fullmetal Alchemist +
> Brotherhood (No arguments for either, they are both awesome)
> Vandread (Weird but decently entertaining)
> Full Metal Panic (It's good)
More finished that I'm now too lazy to look up or comment on:
Sekirei, Samurai Champloo, Helsing, KissxSis, Chobits, FLCL, Birdy the Mgihty, Kaze no Stigma, Fractale, Ghost in the Shell, [blah blah] Haruhi Suzumiya, Omamori Himari
Never finished (got bored or whatever):
Bleach, Naruto, Death Note
I will never watch this:
Narutaru (and this is why)
It is a lot of stuff from Funimation's channel, because it is easy to look through, it's all subbed, and I can watch it on my iPod without problems.

Re: Anime/Manga?
I've watched a decent amount of anime. I almost always watch with english subs rather than dubs, unless noted.
Cowboy Bebop - good, watched the sub, but dub isn't that bad
Trigun - good I guess, actually watched the dub
Rurouni Kenshin - pretty good, manga supposedly has more content
Samurai Champloo - pretty good
Hunter X Hunter - starts out ok, gets real good, goes downhill - manga supposedly still ongoing
Dragon Ball Z (dub) / Dragon Ball Kai (sub) - really great
Dragon Ball (sub) - OK
Gundam Wing - good, watched the dub
Long-term ones, on-going series:
Naruto / Naruto Shippuden - ongoing, great, but need to avoid fillers
Bleach - good for first few sagas, again need to avoid fillers, later goes downhill
One Piece - Best anime ever. Fillers are actually pretty good.
Fairy Tail - Good, but stopped watching recently because of fillers.
Death Note - Good, then still good (just less)
Code Geass - Epic
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood - Epic (the first anime is good too, but it's really not as good). supposedly dub is alright, but i don't like it.
Ones I barely remember:
Zoids, Thundercats, Robotech, sailor moon (lol).
Recently watched:
Sword Art Online - starts out great, then less good & downhill
Cowboy Bebop - good, watched the sub, but dub isn't that bad
Trigun - good I guess, actually watched the dub

I am no longer active to Halo or MGM, and don't guarantee a response on the forums or through email. I will however linger around the discord room for general chatting. It's been fun!
Re: Anime/Manga?
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned Magi, but it's pretty great. 25 episodes currently, with more coming in the fall I think.

Thank god someone else watched this.nil wrote:I

I would say its better than "Good" but I will give you the fillers part.
Ive just begun season 2 (Season 1 was epic imo) And I instantly hated the fact that the very first ep of s2 was filler.
cmooonnn. I was actually almost depressed when i reached the end of season 1 thinking that was all the episodes.
Nope. Theres like 300 some...

Re: Anime/Manga?
I tried watching Fairy Tale and I just couldn't get into it. Watched maybe the first 5 episodes or something, didn't want to continue because of the weird pacing and what felt like an awkward plot to me.
