Alpha Squad mod 1.2 Mac version and standalone Std. Upgrade

When are these coming out. They've been done for a few days, well AS 1.2 is good enough to go now as is the standalone of the Standard Upgrade weapons mod that came with the 1.0 version of the AS mod. People are asking for it.

why does it say Standard Upgrade 1.1 on the front page?

There is no 1.1 version.

People are getting confused because of this.

another thing i noticed is that people are playing in Alpha Squad 1.2 rooms with 1.0 or vice-versa and are blaming the 1.2 version, saying it is buggy.

Please stop this. Make sure everyone has the correct version.

BTW - i heard a rumor and tested the download link for the Alpha Squad MOD and noticed after downloading, when unstuffing, it errors out.....

here's the message:

now all the crashing as of lately makes more sense.

we need to re upload the correct file.

The reason Standard Upgrade is 1.1 is that is how it is listed in the AS mod. Check the ReadMe. I'll put the mod offline, until we upload it again.

Well you might as well include the patch to the patch....

Summary of changes for AS mod 1.3

- Resized the Mk12 Mod0 texture to reduce it's size from 2MB to 512KB, hopefully fixing the crashes reported after the 1.2 update.

that's it.

it's a manual update or lets combine it with 1.2

interesting because the modscont.txt says 1.0 but the read me says 1.1

confusing......

I spoke to somebody on alpha squad #2 server about Standard Upgrade and it hasn't changed so if there's a discrepency in the nomenclature of the included files don't worry

It would be good to note though on the front page that the Standard Upgrade weapons mod is required for use with AS mod.

I mentioned this in the beta testers thread but don't know if anyone read that.

I link to the Standard Upgrade mod in the description of the AS mod. So no one should be able to get the AS mod and not get the Standard mod.

I did not have any problems unstuffing 1.2. It runs very well on my machine as well.

Was this a generic problem or are there others that did not have any problems?

Since the update to 1.3 doesn't seem to have many changes, I don't think I'll be downloading it.

The 1.3 was a minor texture update. If 1.2 is working fine for you then I wouldn't download 1.3 unless you were trying to join a room hosting 1.3.
