I decided to take on the challenge of the map that some said could not be converted. Well here is my progress.

After alittle more testing to check if I missed anything, I should have this up for download sometime this week. \ :) /

Hello,

Very NICE Map !

But, there is a BIG problem, the Mod dont work in multiplayer.

Example : with Warzone or siège, only the host see the zones on the map.
The other players do not see the zones.

I think that the problem is in this file : "ws_gametypes_d.mis"

 :?:

I'll check out the problem. I never tested the map on Warzone only on LMS and Coop.

A few people have also reported that the water texture isn't correct, allthough i see the water just fine on my side.

I have noticed when I host, I can hear the water sound (like I should), but when I am a client on someone elses server I hear a burning/crackling sound like a fire instead of water sound. Wierd.

One of the people that reported water texture issue also said this map was converted to mac about a year ago, and everything on that version of the map works fine. Funny how it was never made public for mac consumption, and even the PC author didn't even know about it. Heck, he was suprised to hear we converted it.

anyhow, I'm going to download the version we have up here at MGM and make sure it's not corrupted.

I double checked the version here for corruption, and have decided everything is fine.

We've come to the conclusion that the problem that people are experiencing with the water textures is do to the newer ATI video cards, and thus out of our hands.

A update on the zone problem. It seems that the objectives in missions also suffer from clients not seeing the correct ones. I am working on a solution and I'm hoping to have something to report by tomorrow or Wednesday.

Good news because this Map is really very good.

Will you be able to indicate to me on which file you made corrections?

Thank you

I have found a solution. I have just been busy and haven't had time to fix all of the missions. I will try to get the fix out by Sunday or Monday.
