Huh? I'm talking about the gametype editor. I remember it crashes if you go to create new, but editing an existing one and then naming it something new works just fine. At least the version he gave me.

Ok, well Ive thought of a few new things. Here they are in non-chronological order:
Ive decided the nades will be a land mine and (if i can pull it off) a grav lift/man cannon (portable, of course).
Ive decided to make 2 "magic" weapons, which are more fantasy than technology. One is an explosive fireblast which can do tremendous damage when shot at an object closer than (i would estimate) 30ft, and the other is an EMP generator. The generator is still just an idea though. I kinda wanna have it seperate from the magic, but i kinda dont.
The point is, it will, in a radius the size of a tank or so, generate EMP waves from midair, destroying the sheilds of any nearby enemies. However, it has no effect on allies or yourself. Also, ive got it testing so that you can turn it on, switch weapons, and walk away. It will still shoot there for another 25-30 seconds, taking out all nearby sheilds. Definently usefull.
Is it just me, or is most of the stuff ending up as Halo 3 even though I want it to be original? Eh, whatever. Its still original as far as Halo Demo modding has gone.

omg, i'll try to do it........
for the 'active-for-25/30-seconds' thing, we should make the EMP generator shoots with locked on state and that cant turn off; it battery will deplete after 25/30 seconds
doing a JPT! with a large collision radius should be easly made-able with eschaton... but a cool thing would be adding a blueish SPLA to it (when you hit a cyborg's shield, that effect is called spla (shader plasma))
shields destroying and no-friends killing is easly made-able with eschatoon too, i'll help if you want...

Yeah, ive been wondering about that. It seems there are a few tags that are also changeable by gametype. Possibly the GT jumps in and changes those as the game loads? I dont know... It could be an interesting thing to pursue. How do gametypes work, programming wise.
And yes, the EMP is awsome. So far, it is almost an "unlockable" firing weapon, but only when you switch to your secondary to take care of the health under the shields. If you switch back, you become a walking generator, which for team purposes, is about as effective as a 3 person banshee with auto, homing missile turrets on it.
Which could also be pretty cool... O.O
