So far there is no way what's so ever, even with Pickoff back, nothing has changed for us modelers...and it sucks unless someone can find a way to preserve the animations when exporting the Bipd

Well I may be able to help.. I think there is a way,I have been modding halo 2, and there is a tutorial for keeping the animations clean, I think I can figure out a way to make it work with Mac modding for halo demo.

Isn't halo 2 created just like Halo 1?

No, There is no h2 for Mac, so it would be damned near impossible to compare them

I know its only for PC and XBOX, but H2 seems like an extension of 1. Only some new elelments which we have included into mods were introduced. I think most of H2 is made like H1. Just my opinion.

I was just thinking that maybe... well Jacob. Have you figured out yet, is it possible to remodel a biped and keep the animations clean and working instead of all messed up?

is it possible for altimit... to maybe make a feature in eschaton to rename tags? also what is the latest version of eschaton? is it 0.7.2 or 0.7.3? can someone link me to the latest version download?

Thanks. Okay one small problem. Okay I need to explain about CE and map files, and tool.

Well.. there are.scenario tags, which you open up in sapien to spawn stuff, and edit stuff. Well.. you can only have a certain ammount of tags, or else it wont go through tool, and build into a map file.

So... I had to make 2 maps. Part 1 Beta, and Part 2 Beta.

Part 1 includes most bipeds.part 2 includes all halo 3 beta spartan permuations.

mp_masterchief.. is a random permutation biped. that means... that when you spawn you spawn with random secondary colors, and random armor.. okay? lol.
There are bipeds where there is just one plain model.

Part 2 includes the h3 spartan models.

Okay? Here is the problem though. Both map files zipped together are 108.5 MBs. so that could be a problem. I am trying to figure out how to compress it even smaller can someone tell me how?
