4GB Hard Drive? I would say absolutely not, unless you plan on only playing one or two games and never downloading anything. I suppose price plays into it though. But even the newer Xbox generation is getting cheap.

It's just smart and you will save money in the long run if you follow your epic online pal Fonzie's advice up above.

Thing is, the only game I'm even interested in playing is Halo anniversary. I have no interest in any other games except perhaps gears of war 3. Everything else I play on PC because well.. more precise control with keyboard/mouse than a controller and no shitty aim assists. Also less raging 12 year old homosexuals and the competitive level is much higher on PC so...

If its just those two games only, would it be acceptable? My friend bought a new TV on black friday and they threw in that 4gb xbox but since he only plays ps3 he offered it to me for $150, same as the holiday sale price but I wouldnt have to pay tax on it or anything so... Debating :S I'd need to get a soundcard and a VGA/DVI adapter just to get it to work with my computer monitor as well. Cause fuck buying a new HDTV just to play xbox.

Yeah, that sounds like a good deal. If they threw in the Xbox for an already-cutback TV, it must be old... Though I doubt you could sell it for $200. Depreciation plus old hardware plus already low Xbox prices.

Don't buy the 4gb one... i did and ended up spending the 100+ dollars i would have spent on the 250gb. The hard drive errors are just terrible.
