Well if you want to get into the Windows files at school, right click on the desktop and go to "New" then "Shortcut" and make the Shortcut direct to:

C:\Windows\

Then click the OK button or whatever, then you should have a shortcut directing to the Windows HD.
I haven't tried, but I think that if you download Netscape (for PC) the ports used for AIM will not be blocked. I have been unsuccessful at enabling the Run button in Windows.
Well at my school, I was caught last year on youtube because my fucking teacher was "breathing over my neck" meaning that she was, like, right behind me (I got the craziest idea of trying Firefox (PC) on the computers AND THEY GOT AROUND ALL THE BLOCKING) and because I was caught I had to go tell the school's computer techs how I did it. At around the beginning of school I took my flashdrive (with firefox on it) and tried to get to a site, and it was blocked. They might have enabled it for other browsers at my school too. So at my school, different browsers wont work.

Nice idea Demon, lol, don't use Netscape (PC), use Firefox (PC).

Brilliant minds think alike...

If you want to get to blocked sites try www(1-100).website.com.

Try a input the website name in "website" and try every number 1-100 until you get to the site.

Start at 1 then go to 100.
Try 1-10 and then 11-100.

I haven't tried 11-100 yet...

I also might make some Windows programs to enable registry editing, editing of file privilages, password changing, and to enable the "Run" command.

(If i have the time)

If I am using the Windows at school for actual "research" I use Firefox. (Surprisingly the filter let me.) Using Netscape was an idea that I had to access AIM chat. For those of you who don't know, Netscape can connect to the AIM protocol so that you can actually chat in the browser. It would be cool if there was a Firefox extension that allowed this, but I haven't been able to find one.

At my last school if you went to the library and copied a shortcut on one computer it appeared on all the rest! XD I had fun with that because you dont need to log in and can't be traced. Muahaha.

The only way that anybody at my school has discovered is to use a proxy website, and the list of banned proxies grows larger with every passing day.

All I have to say is that the kids at your school are stupid.
Better yet, write us a spiffy new hacking program, whaddya say?
I'm still thinking about it...

We have that exact same thing in our library as well, lol. For our computers you need to log on except you have to login to a "Terminal" on the computer which is then sent to the school computer server, and our computer screens can be seen. The library computers send something to the computer techs server at my school (whenever you put in a flashdrive or CD) and they can view everything on it. Luckily I lock all my folders that I don't want them to see and I make them only viewable on Macs. Yay!

Yeah, doesn't Netscape have that AIM window on the left side of it, like a built-in AIM extension?

The Mac version is a bit behind the current PC release. Does anybody know of any other browsers that can connect to the AIM network?

Actually any browser can use AIM if you use AIM Express. Go to here and click on AIM Express.

Well that's blocked at my school, the site.
If you want to get to blocked sites try www1-10.website.com.

Try a input the website name in "website" and try every number 1-10 until you get to the site.

Start at 1 then go to 10.

Then try 11-100 if 1-10 doesn't work.
Maybe I could try this with www.aim.com, but I have no use for it at school...

To open Terminal on a computer that has it restricted, open Safari, type telnet:// into the address bar, and hit enter.

And if you want to watch StarWars Episode IV in Terminal, click here!:

Trinity, did you say you figured out how to connect to AIM at school? The www.aim.com site is blocked, as well as http://aimexpress.aim.com/

That's what's disabled. There is no "Run" in the Start Menu. And Control Panel access has also been disallowed.
