Heh. I feel it's quite easy if you know how to import things... and even easier when you know how to null out the BSP... and, of course make your own...

Deox; great mod. Looks extremely awesome. I'm very curious, though. Do you have a PC? And, if so... are you using SparkEdit to create these fine mods? Or... are you using Hex to place all imported items? Bonus points to you if you are using Hex.

Keep it up man...

And, someone said something about Duel Wielding... I'll help! I really wanna do duel wielding... and have double energy swords... How hard could that be? Eh, sword?

I was reading and wondering.... is there something to replace the Fuel Rod on the Banshee? Like a Missile or something?

You could change the collision of it to a rock so that when someone is in there... they won't die...

... so don't make it any noobier!
Well, it's just if there aren't any fuel rods, the effectiveness of the Banshee goes down. And the Banshee will literally go down with it.

As it stands, or at least from my point of view, the Fuel Rod is one of or the only thing(s) keeping people in the air. In my early days of Banshee flying, so early I didn't know about the Fuel Rod, I found the Banshee practically useless except for ramming people. The Plasmas just didn't cut it.

The Fuel Rod takes down the shields of an opponent, and the Plasma Bolts finishes off the health (Referring to anything besides another Banshee). Although the Plasma Bolts are capable of eliminating shields, it makes for longer strafing runs and makes the Banshee more vulnerable due to the longer time required to finish a target. The Fuel Rod also disrupts the path of light ground vehicles, namely the Warthog. The change is fine for Banshee vs. Banshee dogfights because they are evenly matched and aside from that, Fuel Rods aren't commonly used to much effect in these dogfights except for the opening charge.

Here's the rub. In Banshee vs. Anything else, where the Banshee isn't running the target over, almost always requires a Fuel Rod blast or two to take out the target and for the Banshee to survive (To be effective/swift) or otherwise make the attack worth it. The Fuel Rod allows for an easy Spartan/Spartan group kill, because it kills the shields and sometimes some health, somewhat blinds the opponent(s) briefly, and now the Plasma Bolts can easily do the rest of the job. If it might take 2 or 3 times as long to do this with Plasma Bolts only, it greatly increases the chance that the Spartan(s) can disable or kill the pilot. So what can the Banshee pilot do? What's effective besides a Fuel Rod Plasma Bolt combo? Well, ramming does the trick doesn't it?

Without the added force of the Fuel Rod, people will be even more tempted to take the Banshee onto the ground, ramming the opponents. It's an instant, quick and most importantly effective and efficient kill. Chances are that the pilot won't bother with the Plasma Bolts, because they won't do a comparable job on their own to the ramming. Now a Fuel Rod Plasma Bolt combo doesn't have this instant effect, but is close enough to be settled on.

In my opinion, this removal of the secondary weapon would simply magnify what ever frustration and "Noobiness" on the Banshee. I suggest either replacing the Fuel rod with something to a similar equivalent, if not just leaving it as the secondary weapon.

Then it's completely useless, but that's your point isn't it? If we're taking away all of that, you might as well just have the Banshee out of it altogether, although I think this map could use the Banshee. From the pictures it seems they would be a quick transport around the map, if not for strafing runs.

If you take away the fuel rod and ramming you still have the plasma shots, so it's just harder to kill people, not impossible.
