Try Altimit's Avatar :D. By the way, the other thing would be to create a gun similar to the Fuel Rod gun in the Combat Really Evolved mod. Then It'll kill anyone.

I do like the idea of a mine with a blast radius of a Base.

Heh heh. Ill try both of those.

The man cannon may be a little bit annoying to make because of a few reasons, and I might or might not make the bomb.

Alright, I'm gonna try to make the bomb... I've looked around in Eschaton but what does the Super Detonation tag do? It's set to -(255NAN) or something like that.

@Zap I have yet to try those entity plugins.

how it will work: low velocity and low life span.

example: if it will have a life span of 2, and we want to make it stay in air for 10 seconds, we need to do 2 / 10 = 0.2
it's speed will be 0.2 O_O ?????

....no, it will be too fast, the right velocity will be 0.002 or low o_o

however, you need to make this smoke not affected by wind. should be simple with pphys eschaton editing...

...if you want i can try some stuff :?

and, for land mines, do time bombs that will explode after a while... like 108 seconds

life span = 2
initial/final speed = 0.002

Super Detonation is for needlers. When you get more than 7 spikes, theres the big explosion. Look at the super detonation for the needler (and im pretty sure NAN is basically "null")

Ok.. posted 1/2 of a second late... And the Man Cannon is a Halo 3 device replacing teleporters. Its that thing on Vahalla that launches people across the map. And making a portable one (like the portable covie anit-grav lift) will be hard because:

1) how to drop it anywhere you want
and
2) how to make it stay there until it respawns (the force would make it go places...)

And thanks Taxi, thats exactly what I had in mind for poison gas. Im about to test it out right now...

Well, I'm surprised none of you looked on Halopedia. This is a link to the Man Cannon page.

In terms of the 2nd problem in Draconic's post, the solution would be to set the weight of the device to be more then the weight of the force it is expelling. That should hold it in place.

The rod doesn't really kill... I kept on shooting it around people, but it ended up that the only ones I kill was myself.

however, i know how to do stationary man cannons :P

for portable ones.... you must 'shoot' a weap that holds trigger when dropped and repeats fire automatically... i can try it, and we need a gravity gun's projectile like in your mod or in quarantine :?

i'll test it.

or, if you have a beta of the mod, give me a copy and i'll try some shit inside...



...however, for the portable camo thing, i was thinking about needler ammo mod2 with needler_luminous slga and modified needler_core scex...

but, we have to choose between portable camo and portable man cannon :? or there will be no gernades...

No, the problem is if you want to make one that shoots you in any direction. A Man cannon would HAVE to be stationary. A portable one could not be dropped and would serve no purpose in reality. And I am pretty sure you cant change the weight of weapons...

The only way for a portable one is to make it like the chainsaw of KillTac. You fire, then switch weapons, and its still there. Launch your team, switch back and turn it off, then assault the base. Or just leave it on and use your secondary (I could make it not count for a weapon slot, but then you could trade it so you have 3 weapons... I could make it non tradable too. :P)

Thats the best way for it to work outside of Halo CE.

uuh...

i am testing how to right now... here's what i'm doing:

sp_needler is the base of my experiments, it shoots gravitygun's modifieds bullets at a 9999 ROF.
but it does it only when dropped, you can carry it like a oddball (so, when clicking it will fall to teh ground)

it is perfect for vehicles XD but cyborgs doesnt fly so well...

but, if we dont need it, i'll develop the stationary one :P

i imported the burning flame emitter from a1... VOLCANO MOD :D
...heheheh

...however, it has needler_explosion as effe
which is modified to have scorpion bullet's jpt! and a meta-edited pctl.

but, it's smoke is still purple... i'm not good with those stuff :oops: i'm sure you'r better with this shits :P

For grenades to go through walls, i'm pretty sure that if you set the damage radius large enough, it will go through wallz.(like in my Frontier Mod, the anti-shield grenade) As for portable man cannons, import a grenade from full map, make it so there is no damage done(go into jpt!) and also make the force from the explosion huge, that way, you don't get hurt and you go flying. That's all I can think of. Or you can just switch the mod2 of the plasma grenade to that of the teliporter base(change teliporter glow color to blue in bitmaps or whatever), turn off all damage for the plasma grenade, and again, boost the grenade force alot.

Hope this mod turns out awsome.
