Should Cannabis be legal?
I didnt say there wern't classes/publications for alcoholics, what i meant was there are moer reader friendly publications for cannibas connoisseurs. BTW the classes you mentioned are High School classes, no? lol. D.A.R.E. all over again. Do those classes help? All DARE did for me was open the door and made me even more curious. How smart are we at age 14? lol
Also, doesn't AA seem a little to late in the process to be teaching someone about a destructive disorder such as alcoholism, since most people that attend those classes are repeat offenders?
Beer drinkers in general don't care to learn (many of my friends are living proof =( How many DUI's does it take?), and from my experience most cannibas smokers are healthier people in general.
There are far worse things out on the market that western society is being fed, yet the reason it's out there is because of money. If the government could control cannibas like they do with all these other pharmaceuticals it would be legal, and it seems to me that they are slowly working on it, cause it is getting easier and easier to get Medical Marijuana these days, at least in California.

Oh and Virl, I agree with you. There are many factors of this problem, but I don't have time to post them; I will edit this post later while I have the time.
Games Club, Work and Women always control my life x.x;
I know people who smoke weed everyday. But, before they were introduced to that "wonderful thing" they did quite well in school, had good social lives, had a job, had money to spend. THey had pretty much good lives... but now all they do is ditch school, shovel money out of their pockets to get a dime bag before, and after school. They don't do jack shit anymore, they are assholes now, and yeah.. weed pretty much fuked up their life. They will just sit around, get high, and pretty much that's it. They won't hang out anymore, unless it's to get high yeah yeah... So, I think it's cases like that, why people don't want this stuff to be legalized cause you'd have a society that just is more lazy, and have unhealthy addictions.
Whether it's legal or not really isn't going to matter. Especially with the great succes this "war on drugs" is haveing
I have smoked weed, done this and that.. It's great till u wake up on a park bench the next morning about 10 miles away from your house.
So, should it be legal? I think only as a prescription.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean, I've had a best friend drift off due to Cannabis. He did well at school, was fun to be with, could tell his left from his right but now most of that has changed. Hes moved in with a differnt crowd whos idea of fun is to stand around smoking and spitting randomly. The sad thing is even if they werent addicted to smoking (tobacco) they would still do it anyway just because thats their idea of cool and good way to pass the time.
It all depends on the person really since alot of my good friends smoke cannabis but are in no way like this and havent changed. P.S that guy was in the top class and he is now exspelled from school.

You woke up and didn't know where you were or how you got there?KingYaba wrote:I have smoked weed, done this and that.. It's great till u wake up on a park bench the next morning about 10 miles away from your house.
For some reason I find that highly unlikely...... maybe you were drunk or on some other intoxicant as well?

I agree with Virl, Canny can't make you lose your memory. You would of had to have been on some sort of alcohol or something of that sort.
I know a few people who are 'addicted' to Canny and they seem fine, with the exception of the small bit of coughing here and there.
One of my buddies has a 4.0 GPA, is in football, soccer and track and is 'addicted' to Canny....
Now if you're attempting to tell me that he's not doing well, you can just keep thinking that.
----And for future reference, he's been using Canny for probably around six to ten months, so he's had plenty of time to screw himself over.
