Mod overview:
-Modes:
There are 4 versions of this mod. The two most namely are Heroic and Normal. With the Heroic version, meteors shall streak down from sky, wreaking havoc on all down below. **WARNING** Meteors may cause slow down on lesser computers. The normal version does not contain these meteors so you do not need to worry about getting blown up while playing. (Yes, it happens quite a lot) Among these two versions are the Human and Covenant versions. In the human version, you play as a Spartan. Shields recharge quicker and take less time to begin recharging. About the same time it takes in Halo 2. In the covenant version, there are virtually no differences - health and shields amounts and recharge times are identical, and all weapons deal the same amount of damage on either biped. Elites have also been modified to be able to wield any weapon, and drive any vehicle. Elites also have team colors. Elites, however, are more faithful to the SP AI you see. Thus said, you cannot move diagonally, and large heights or weapon impacts may stun you. There is also an eerie black fog that resides in this map, as well as a dense forest. Scattered around are ammo stations which can provide you with ammunition when needed. The main ammo depot resides in the middle of the map.

As well as this are ammo depots in the bases:

- Weapons:
• Alpha HEPT (High Energy Plasma Thrower):

The HEPT is a modified version of the standard UNSC MA5C. It carries clips of 32 ammo, and fires deadly bolts of plasma.
Pros:
- Effective and Stripping shields and armor alike
- 7 shots needed to kill someone.
- Very high ROF.
Cons:
- Not as effective over a distance.
- A very short clip.
• MAC-20:

The MAC-20 is a revolutionary new weapon in the human's arsenal. Its clip houses a micro-dyson slip-space bubble which allows it to contain a huge clip at once. This proves deadly along with its high rate of fire. (ROF)
Pros:
- Very high ROF.
- Headshots are instantly lethal. This makes it easy to score a kill after shields are gone.
- Causes some pushback onto the enemy.
Cons:
- Very ineffective against shields.
• Support Gun:

and

The support gun does exactly as the name implies: It is a support weapon. Its primary shot creates a stationary turret which attacks enemies and can provide a distraction or escape. The secondary shot, on the other hand, creates a deployable shield to use as cover.
*Note*: To use the deployable shield effectively, point it at the sky and turn left 45˚.
*Note* The primary turret does not have any friend or foe recognition. It will attack whoever fires first. If nobody fires, the turret will remain inactive. Turrets are, however, mostly invincible. The only way to kill a turret is to melee it in the back while it is not locked on to anything:

However, if it is locked on to something, it has a sort of shield around it which makes it much more difficult to kill. Keep circling around the turret while meleeing it to finally kill its shield and bring it down.
Pros:
- Deployable cover is effective at shielding against enemy fire.
- Auto turrets can provide base defense or a good distraction.
Cons:
- The support gun depletes ammo very quickly.
- Auto turret has no FOF recognition.
• Magma Rifle

The magma rifle does precisely what its name suggests: It shoots molten balls of magma.
Pros:
- Leaves a burning effect on players and scenery to deal extra damage.
- Very high damage ratio.
Cons:
- Ineffective at a distance.
• Fire Sniper Rifle

The effects of the sniper rifle are purely eye candy. Apart from leaving a burning effect on victims hit by the sniper but not killed, there is no difference.
• EMP Cannon: (Created by Draconic74)

The EMP Cannon is an effective weapon that easily strips shields from an enemy. This weapon will only affect shields. To use it, you must first activate it by firing. From there, you can choose be a walking EMP Cannon, or you can drop the firing effect by switching to your other weapon. If you "drop" the firing effect, it will look like this:

Pros:
- Effective for base assaults.
- Strips shields almost instantly.
Cons:
- Hurts you and your enemies.
- The effect is rather large and noticeable.
• Flak Cannon
The Flak cannon is one of my personal favorites and does precisely what you would expect - as well as what you would not expect.
When you first fire it, it shoots out a ton of pieces of metal before overheating.

A few moments later, **BOOM** the flak detonates in a fire explosion.

Pros:
- Very large and deadly explosion effect.
- Flak can stick to walls.
- Seriously RAPES at close range.
Cons:
- Horrible at a distance.
- Overheats quickly.
- Vehicles:
• Civilian Warthog

The Civilian Warthog is almost the same as the regular warthog, only it lacks a turret. In the place of that is another sideseat. And it's fast. Very fast.
Pros:
- Incredible fast.
- Can fire from both sideseats.
Cons:
- Run-over damage is no longer instantly lethal regardless of veloctiy. (I can't remember if I actually did this or not. I'm pretty sure I did though...)
- Very easy to get flipped over.
• Pelican and Spirit Dropship (Spirit not yet completed...)

The Pelican and Spirit dropship are identical to what they are normally. The difference is that the Spirit's camera angle is fixed, and you can go into the back part of the cargo hold in the pelican as well as get in any of the seats. **Note**: The Spirit Dropship's seats, apart from the driver seat, are currently a little messed up. New version of Eschaton should be able to fix that.
