No offense to anybody, okay? But I'm just saying, most of the battle rifle mods suck. I mean bad, sorry. Well anyways, most of them either look weird or can't zoom. I mean most battle rifles or covenant carbines don't even look at all like the ones in halo 2 or 3. Most people add a stupid scope on the assult rifle and calls it a batle rifle, I mean you might as well just call them close combat sniper rifles or auto close range sniper rifles or something. (no offense again), I went to file frount and found the only mod that made the battle rifle look like a real battle rifle and guess what? It has to replace the sniper rifle, I mean why the hell would you swap a sniper rifle with a battle rifle? (No offense once more) Most times people can't see them and complain and quit my server, of course, later i learned that joiners can't see them. I'm sorry if I sound pissed because I really am. This, people, is what a battle rifle looks like, have you forgoten?? or like what? If you can't mod a battle rifle, don't call it battle rifle. (No offense to anybody)

Problem #1: filefront. That modding community is horrible. I've never seen anything of noteworthy quality come out of there.

Problem #2: You're probably looking at mods made on a PC where their only option is remodeling. There aren't enough verts/inds to make a decent looking model (or at least no one talented enough has done so). On macs we have the ability to actually create new models unlike everyone else. And then of course there's the option of ripping from CE.

And why exactly are you posting this? It's not like we're the idiots who hang around the filefront forums and most people here probably don't tag their uploads correctly. I know I don't.

dude, we CONVERT them, we dont MAKE them, and the majority of the models we convert where crappily made. if you wanna bitch...go to the CE peeps.

Im really sorry people, i'm just kind of mad. Woke up on the wrong side of bed i suppose, or is it just that too many people swear at my battle rifle mod downloads. Look guys i'm really sorry. I know that you guys all worked hard on modding and I don't even know how to F***in mod and I looked everywhere on google. I just feel sad that my parent's won't get me a xbox to play halo 2 or 3 on, or if they do they won't let me get halo or live because it "costs too much"

I really think that the battle rifle looks cool, everytime I look at it I have this longing, you know? I want to actrually fire a few rounds and pwn a few people with it. Contact Harvest, it's a book, and if anybody read it, or seen it you would know that on the cover is Sgt Avery Johnson, smoking a cigar while holding the battle rifle, on the ground is a bunch of marines and way way way far back in the background is a pelican dropship with the masterchief in it.

Everytime I play halo 2 and 3, and then have to leave, i'm like S*** M**ther F***** DA**IT!

well if you want a good battle rifle mod/ carbine mod. there was one that depp put out some time ago...what was it? halo 2 gulch? and if you want a wide variety of weapons just download AXIS. i made that one, but some of the weapons are one tone, again, not my fault, made that way.

Halo 2 Gulch is made by sword. Just download One of Depp mods like Chaos Canyon, Depp Gulch, Spectre in Bloodgulch, etc.. etc.. Also Everyone likes the battle rifle cause it has a wonderful design. With an attached scope that makes it perfect

. And it every fun to use in H2 and H3.

You said that it replaces the sniper? OK if your willing to take a minutes I'll teach ya about D-swapper. Google Eschaton, download one and open it up. find the map that you have the battle rifle replacing the sniper. Load that and up at the top there should be a few tab-like things named main-data, dependency swapper, scenario editor, and hex editor.click dependency swapper. and in the list to the side labeled primary class hit the tag scnr scroll down till you reach all the nulled out things. below them, there should be something like a bunch of tags reading item collections/single weapons/someweapon then scroll down a bit till you see item collections/single weapons/battle rifle or something like that. highlight that, and at the bottom there should be a dropdown menu and a text field that says tag class. type itmc and choose sniper rifle. choose some other item collections and type itmc into the field and choose your battle rifle. note which weapon you swapped it for and go to where that weapon was and it will be there.

I just made this tut up. If you are confused say so.
