DanDan... Donkey Kong 64 is in no way an RPG. And... are you suggesting most RPGs aren't fun? What the hell?! Gah...
And, in response to cigarr, I believe the Kirby game on the VC is Kirby's Adventure, which was originally for the NES. I don't think Kirby Superstar for the SNES has been released on VC yet.

Go Go Go Play CS:S!!!!
SOMEONE KILL ME.
Gah. DK 64 is in NO WAY an rpg. What the hell is wrong with you?
You don't just "walk around and do stuff" in an rpg. An rpg uses a complicated stat system to analyze, compute, and provide information on a battle, to give assessments of risks to the player, to tell whether you're going to slay that level 20 dragon with your material blade or whether it'll completely destroy you with it's level 5 fiery implosion. An rpg is usually originally based off the Dungeons and Dragons D20 system. And rpg is NOT AN ADVENTURE GAME. If DK 64 was an rpg, that would mean so is Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, Legend of Zelda, Spiro, half the adventure/platformer games out there. RPG stands for Role Playing Game. Meaning it originated from Role Playing, which has been around since the dark ages. Role Playing tells a story through a series of events usually controlled by more than one person in reality. DK 64's storyline would take me less than 3 sentences to state.
End of discussion. Go get a better education of the gaming world.

*hand slap to face* No, it's not that you have different "standards," it's that you don't understand the fact that it's just not an rpg!DanDan wrote: i guess i have a different standard of RPGs.![]()
