Everyone gets one reply to list their modding life's work. Remember to add a download link for each mod. Edit your post to keep it updated; this is your modding resume 8) ---
In response to the many arguments against this topic, I can only remind you that nobody is forcing you to use this... but using it is a very smart move. One creative example of how this topic is helpful is if you need to prove your modding experience to someone, have them search this post for your name. (Say, "Go to macgamingmods.com and search the forum for 'credits'.") Instant gratification!

We already have a stickied thread similar to this. There was no reason for you to create this thread.

Where is it? You couldn't possibly be referring to the Mod Post, that only includes one round of mods uploaded to MGM by Monoman. If that's what you're talking about, then I feel completely justified in making this post.

Perhaps there is a list in the Mod Development Board, which is not accessible to the general public. If so, then surely you understand the benefits of having a public list where we can show and describe our own mods.

I'm posting just because it amuses me how little actual modding I've done considering I started back in 8-Jun 06. That's not to say I haven't done more, but these are the very few released ones. All but one is for full.

CSS AI mod <- Filefront, my first mod ever released, updated a few times. Used to be on halomods but got pruned way back when. Basically, it allows you to spawn AI MC's from the plasma pistol. Since the only thing imported that's used is the actv tag it's CSS (provided only the host has the mod active). Not really meant to be more than a gimmick mod since every other AI mod I ever saw required them spawning in vehicles which I thought was boring. They still do, but it's more interesting.

Spec Ops on DeathIsland <- Halomods, once I finally got a drivable pelican tutorial that worked and taught myself how to hex bitmasks I made this. Lots of PMI and a little bit of modding. The only mod I ever made that wasn't a concept test.

Variable Skins <- Halomods, a simple proof of concept for using color masking since I was annoyed you couldn't have the player/team color affect certain sections of the skin using the default mask. Very n00by to anyone who actually knows how to do quality image editing.

Drop in <- Halomods, demonstration mod of what Eschaton 0.4 could do (spawn point editing). Cheated a bit using hex to move the flags themselves.

Drop in 2.0 <- Mgm/filefront, same as above with a little bit extra PMI/skinning to look better. Only released mod for demo ever.

These lists do not even mention the authors, much less give them room to discuss their mods.

This post is meant to give the AUTHORS a place to show what they've done. So for example, I can now see all the mods made by Altimit01. I can't find a similar list anywhere else on MGM - you can't search the mod list for authors because the authors aren't included in the mod summary information. Go ahead and try to search for "taxiservice" on this page. It won't return any results, yet the first mod on the list (Agoraphobia) is by TaxiService.

Now please delete your duplicate posts (if any), and use your first post here accordingly :D Thanks.

Case-in-point:
A random player, "Mania", makes a mod called "Sequence." Then he spends a lot of time publicizing it on Halo Demo servers, and now everyone loves it. Unfortunately, "Imanoob" wants to steal credit for it and starts stepping on toes... so instead of "Mania" becoming manic, he can just tell people to come here and see his post that clearly shows his authorship. This avoids topics like this and this. Granted, this isn't likely to happen, but I'm sure you see other benefits to this post...

...like...

"im_a_new_guy" registers at this MGM forum. He's new here, so he says something taboo like "how do i mod?!?". Unbeknownst to us, he has a long list of modding credentials at other sites... so instead of chewing him out, we can see what he has actually done and know where he's coming from.

Oh, and it beats having a million topics saying "NEW MOD!!!" when announcing that you have just released a new mod...only to have it buried under other people's topics within a day.

Either you are groping for answers, or you are asking God and listening to Jesus.

Why is it any different posting it here? Besides, people can comment on a new mod if it has it's own topic.

I'm all-for making a post to discuss your mod with everyone, but you should also realize that it will become buried under other posts before everyone here sees it.

Please just stop telling me how my post is worthless before you have even tried making it worthwhile. If you find it too inconvenient to ponder more reasons to have this post, how about trying it out first? Do what we're all good at, and use your imagination ;)

P.S. I'm deleting my duplicate posts tomorrow.

Did I say that your post was "worthless"? I don't think so.

In relation to having the new mod topic buried, I haven't ever had that experience.

-=Moxus=-

P.S. I don't need my imagination to know what posting to a topic is like.

My life's work..does that mean all my mods? And Fusion V3? **
The only ones who see this are forum people and they all basically have looked at (basically) everyone's mods after releasing.
But I'll post the linkz here anyways..

No it's not a typo..I literally finished Fusion V3 the day after I released V2.
